For you fly tiers out there Made On The Yellowstone is now offering hand made bodkins. Each piece is a unique tool made from either driftwood or beaver chewed wood.
Since each piece is unique the overall size will vary. Most bodkins are from about three and a half to six inches. Every bodkin has a "sweet spot" where it will feel comfortable in your hand.
Now you can have a hand made piece of Montana on your fly tying desk. These bodkins are both beautiful and functional. As you tie your flies you will have a direct connection to the Yellowstone River every time you reach for your bodkin.

Most of the bodkins here have either been sold, or are in various fly shops. We have a couple new batches on the way. The vast majority of the new bodkins will be very similar to the ones made of cedar shown of this page. We will have the new pictures up soon.
