Ants and beetles : The other terrestrials

Besides hoppers there are many other terrestrials that fall or are blown into the rivers. While just about any bug can end up in the water ants and beetles are perhaps the most numerous.

When terrestrials are brought up most of us automatically think, "Dry Fly". Too often we forget  that a terrestrial that does not get eaten right away sinks. With this in mind we included some sunken ants, beetles and hoppers in the Terrestrial Collection.
